Born in Cuenca, Ecuador, Marco Antonio Espinoza has lived in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, since 1989. A devoted father of two daughters, he writes stories that invite readers to reflect on life’s most difficult and deeply human experiences.

For most of his life, sports have been one of Marco’s greatest strengths and passions. Reading and literature were never among his favorite subjects in school, and becoming an author was not something he had imagined for himself. Yet, after a life filled with dreams, goals, and adventures, he found the courage to begin an entirely unexpected journey: writing his own book.
Through The Divine Sentence, Marco explores family, sacrifice, injustice, forgiveness, and hope with a raw emotional perspective and a desire to tell meaningful stories. Writing the book taught him that it is never too late to try something completely new and that some of life’s greatest surprises come from the paths we never planned to take.
